I’ve taught filmmaking for nearly a decade, in classrooms that range from Philadelphia public high schools to graduate seminars.
My teaching began in the School District of Philadelphia/University of Pennsylvania Film Program,
where I worked with Amit Das training graduate students in the technical craft of filmmaking as they made
collaborative narrative, documentary, and ethnographic films with high school students.
I also served as a media instructor for WHYY, training teachers and leading after-school documentary and journalism programs.
At Penn Libraries, I lead workshops in video and audio production, editing, and VR and AR technologies.
At Temple University, I’ve work as a teaching assistant and lab instructor in courses such as:
Film Foundations I, Filmmaking, Videography, and Junior Cinematography.
